Connect your Mail.com email account to EmailWatch in just a few minutes
Mail.com supports IMAP access, which allows EmailWatch to securely monitor your inbox for important emails. You'll need to enable IMAP in your Mail.com settings and use your regular account password to connect.
Important: IMAP access must be enabled in your Mail.com settings before EmailWatch can connect to your account.

Enter your Mail.com email address and password to sign in.
Once logged in:
Tip: Mail.com is part of the same family as GMX, so the interface may look similar. Look for "POP3 & IMAP" in the settings menu.

If you see a message about third-party access, this is normal. IMAP access is required for EmailWatch to connect to your account.
Mail.com allows you to use your regular account password for IMAP access. Make sure you know:

Now open the EmailWatch app and add your Mail.com account:

Mail.com offers many domain options including @mail.com, @email.com, @usa.com, @post.com, @europe.com, @consultant.com, and many more. All of them use the same IMAP server (imap.mail.com).
Make sure IMAP is enabled in your Mail.com settings (Step 3). Also verify that you're using your full email address (including the domain) and the correct password.
Mail.com and GMX are both owned by the same parent company (1&1 Mail & Media), which is why their interfaces are similar. However, they use different servers and your Mail.com credentials won't work with GMX servers.
Yes, IMAP is a standard protocol for accessing email. Your connection is encrypted using SSL/TLS, and EmailWatch only reads your emails to check for matches against your rules.
Yes, you can disable IMAP access at any time by going back to your Mail.com settings and turning off the IMAP option. EmailWatch will no longer be able to access your email.
